Well, I don't have any qualms about Charlie. I just have to think about his strong muscular arms, tanned from working under the sun. *sigh*

I always find a guy attractive when I see the veins in his arms. It says much about him... Heehee!

You know what I miss?

Posted by kundiman at 10:07 PM on May 9, 2004.

I miss having a real conversation. To have different ideas being tossed back and forth and discussing them in depth.

I sometimes feel that I am surrounded by really shallow people.

I MISS THIS!!

p.s. I added new pictures in my Friends gallery.

Mr. Darcy and Eliza Bennett

Posted by kundiman at 09:17 PM on May 12, 2004.

I have just finished reading Pride, Prejudice, and Jasmin Field by Melissa Nathan. The book completely blew me away! If you're an avid Jane Austen fan, you will definitely appreciate this one.

The story is in many ways parallel to Pride and Prejudice. Actually, it's a modern adaptation of the acclaimed classic, which also happens to feature Pride and Prejudice as a play. It's absolutely brilliant. Jazz the heroine, is very much like Lizzie. Harry Noble, very much like our beloved Fitzwilliam Darcy, and other characters that uncannily parallel the characters of P&P.

Promise me that to all those who read this blog that you will strive to find a copy of the book and read it! It is so wonderful that I fell in love with Mr. Darcy all over again.

*sigh*

Word of the Day: Panic!

Posted by kundiman at 03:35 PM on May 13, 2004 as a favorite post.

I panicked just a few moments ago. Why you ask? It was because I thought I e-mailed to him the result of this crank e-mail a friend plastered somewhere. What's so embarassing about that? I placed his name on the 'Who's your crush' box. And I thought he would see it.

So I called up one of his best friends and pleaded, begged her to ask the password to his e-mail. She said she would and get back to me. So I waited. But the panic intensified. So I called up my cousin and checked her e-mail. To my elephantine relief, it just posted the link of the joke site.

His best friend texted me and told me na he doesn't wanna give it away which was (hell yeah) ok with me. I'm just totally relieved that there was no incriminating data there.

I can now study for calculus.

But my mobile bill will be huge. Eep!

I'm shocked.

You might not comprehend the depth of shock I am experiencing right now upon finding out that Ginny Weasley's full name is, drum roll please, GINEVRA Molly Weasley.

I nearly cried when I found out. Virginia sounded better.

The sweetest thing

Posted by kundiman at 08:24 PM on May 21, 2004 as a favorite post.

This has got to be the sweetest thing I've ever read.

The sweetest thing a guy has done for me was hold my hand.

I am very insecure about my hands since they're sweaty and I know that there are people out there who don't like hands like mine. But this one time, years ago, we were hearing the first friday mass at De La Strada. He and I sat side-by-side. The Lord's Prayer was coming up and my palms were starting to sweat. I raised my hands but close enough to myself so that no one would hold me. He looked at me, asking for my hand, and reluctantly gave it. I apologized for my sweaty palms. I thought that he would just hold my hand lightly, but what he did next surprised me. As I said sorry, he held my hand and held it tight. We were palm to palm and his fingers enclosed my hand. He grinned at me. I struggled to suppress a smile. In the end, it was the best feeling in the world, knowing that he didn't care about my sweaty hands and just holding my hand was enough.

That icky love stuff!

Posted by kundiman at 10:22 AM on May 30, 2004 as a favorite post.

1.Have you ever THOUGHT you were in love?
- yes, but that thought quickly escaped my mind then i realized i wasn't. it was pure infatuation.

2.Do you think you're ready for love?
- i'm not sure. if you're ready for love, that means you're ready to tolerate your partner's eccentricities and flaws and not demand him/her to change. i know, it's very ideal.

3.Do you believe kissing is a way to share
feelings or is it just fun?
- a way to share feelings most definitely.

4.Have you ever been heartbroken?
- i don't think so. i don't have a reason to be heartbroken.

5.If so how long did it last? The heartbreak?
- n/a

6.Have you ever thought you loved someone, but
the feelings went away?
- yes, just recently.

7.Are you afraid of being emotionally alone?
- nope. i'm quite my own person. as long as i've got my friends with me, i'm all good. =)

8.Do you want to fall in love?
- who doesn't want to? "Love sought is good, but given unsought, is better." (Shakespeare)

9.Have you ever loved someone who didn't feel
the same?
- i think there are a million instances like that that happen everyday. it's a common occurence which isn't a big surprise. after all, fiction is usually based on unrequited love.

10.Have you ever cried over someone you thought
you loved?
-not yet, but who knows?

11. Has anyone ever told you you're too young
for love?
- never. frankly, i've never entertained that line of thought. i'd be burning too many brain cells for that when it could be used for something else.

12.Have you ever wished upon a star for love or
for someone?
- NO! i'm not that desperate. "Love sought is good, but given unsought, is better."

13. Have you ever been told you broke somebody's
heart?
- never since i haven't had any romantic inclinations for the past few 19 years of my life.

14. Have you ever told anyone they broke your
heart?
- nope. look above.

15. Have you ever wanted someone so bad that
without them you were miserable?
- i used to feel that, but grew up and realized that there are so many things worth doing than feel miserable about someone. i prefer to be an optimist.

16.Do you believe you can love someone and be
with someone else?
- oh most definitely. everyone has the capacity to love someone. but i believe maturity also plays a big role in any relationship.

17.Do you think love is a feeling that has to be
shared by two people or it's not real?
- still debating that issue in my head. there are so many facets that you have to consider first. i'll let you know though.

18.Have you ever been told "I Love You" and if
so did you feel the same?
- yes, by my friends and family. =D

20.Does somebody love you right now?
- romantic love? i don't know if i'm that interesting to them.

21.Do you believe that love hurts or do you
believe love is pure happiness?
- it goes both ways hun. love and pain is a packaged deal, no refunds.

22.Do you believe this quote: "Love begins with
a smile increases with a kiss and ends with a
tear"?
- i say make your own quote! everyone's love story is different from yours!

23.Do you have your own quote you'd like to
share?
- "Love sought is good, but given unsought, is better." (Shakespeare) -thanks mon Cherie for the inspiration. *wink*

24.Are you single/taken?
- happily single. =)
